Dear Parishioners of Our Lady Queen of Peace
This time of year we celebrate new life. Go out and see what God has made. Let the Holy Spirit fill you with the new life that can be seen around us. Take the time to remind yourselves of the love God has for us and the hope He renews. At this time, Catholics around the world are celebrating the 2025 Jubilee: Pilgrims of Hope. Looking at the logo for the Jubilee, we see a figure holding onto a cross with three more behind them. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the cross turns into an anchor. The anchor, known as a symbol of hope, is cast into the waves below the figures and stabilises them. Use this year to cast out your “anchor of hope” and strengthen your faith in God. We encourage you to join others in taking a pilgrimage. Some may take this time to travel to Rome while others may travel to see the archdiocesan designated churches. The entire staff of Our Lady Queen of Peace prays that this Easter Season is filled with hope and love. We pray that God blesses you with His joy and peace, always Building a Faith Family for Families of Faith.
As we continue this Jubilee Year, we encourage you to pray that you draw closer to the heart of Christ and that His grace guides you in every way.
