In Loving Memory of Pope Francis

With deep sorrow and profound gratitude for a life devoted to the Gospel, we announce the passing of Pope Francis, the 266th Successor of St. Peter and shepherd of the universal Church.

His Holiness led us with humility, courage, and compassion, always reminding us of God’s boundless mercy and the call to care for the most vulnerable. His voice for peace, justice, and fraternity resonated across the globe and touched countless hearts, including our own.

As we mourn this great loss, we also give thanks to God for the gift of his life and witness. In these days of sorrow, let us take comfort in Christ’s promise: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live.” (John 11:25)

We invite all parishioners to join in prayer for the repose of Pope Francis’s soul, and for the Church he so dearly loved. May the Lord welcome him into eternal peace and grant consolation to the faithful throughout the world.

Let us pray together:

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
